From cherry to fine brandy
Only exquisite and ripe cherries are used for fermentation - a total of
8 kilograms of fruit are required for one single litre of Kirsch.
Particularly worth mentioning: Edelbrand cherries are grown on selected farms
and trees and are gently distilled in our rock cellar.
We take our time when distilling. As one of the few distilleries world-wide,
Dettling only distils cherries in its distilling plants, preventing the
transfer of unwanted flavours.
And only the valuable centre cut - the heart of the distillate -- is taken for the brandy. |
